Door County YMCA Partners with the Knights of Columbus Coats For Kids Drive
The Knights of Columbus, in partnership with the Door County YMCA, is proud to announce the launch of “Coats for Kids”, aimed at ensuring that children in need have warm coats to protect them during the upcoming winter months.
The “Coats for Kids” program, spearheaded by the local Knights of Columbus chapter in Sturgeon Bay, is dedicated to providing warmth, comfort, and security to children who may not have access to proper winter attire. This year’s partnership with the Door County Y will allow for an even greater impact within our local community, reaching more families in need through the Y’s broad network of members, camps, and children’s programs.

Gary Drexler, a representative of the Knights of Columbus, stated, "We believe no child should face winter without the basic necessity of a warm coat. By working with the Door County Y, we can help ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, is prepared for the cold weather ahead."
Tonya Felhofer, CEO of the Door County Y, echoed this sentiment, adding, "This collaboration reflects the shared values of the Y and the Knights of Columbus in supporting the well-being of children and families. Together, we can help more kids stay warm, safe, and healthy this winter."
