Successful YMCA Day of Giving

2026 Y Day of Giving Tree

DOOR COUNTY, WI – The Door County YMCA celebrated a successful and spirited YMCA Day of Giving, bringing members, families, and community supporters together for a day of fundraising, fun, and connection. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the YMCA proudly reached its fundraising goal of $20,000 to support local programs and financial assistance initiatives.

Throughout the day, supporters enjoyed fresh coffee and cookies, exclusive Day of Giving t-shirt promotions, interactive “Spin the Wheel” prizes, and the ever-popular Rubber Duck Races, which brought smiles to participants of all ages. The event created an energetic atmosphere across the Y while raising critical funds to support YMCA programs and financial assistance opportunities.

“YMCA Day of Giving is about more than fundraising — it’s about strengthening our community,” said Tonya Felhofer, Door County YMCA CEO. “Every cup of coffee purchased, every t-shirt worn, and every duck entered into the race helps ensure that individuals and families in Door County have access to the programs and support they need to learn, grow, and thrive.”

Funds raised during the Day of Giving help provide scholarships for our Membership for All program, support wellness initiatives, and ensure that financial barriers never prevent someone from participating at the Y.

The Door County YMCA extends its heartfelt thanks to the members, volunteers, staff, and community partners who made the day such a success.
