A "Heart" Overflowing: Capital Campaign Eclipses $9.9M Mark

View of the construction and building progress at the Sturgeon Bay Center

Construction is underway at the Door County Y’s Sturgeon Bay program center. There’s been a flurry of activity, the site has been excavated, footings are going in and pipes and electrical are being moved around. In the next few weeks we should have walls going up for the new wellness center, with the goal of the new space being enclosed before we’re encased in heavy winter snow.

We’re excited to share that we have officially surpassed $9.9 million dollars raised to date! This is an exciting position to be in leaving $350,000 yet to raise to complete this campaign. We believe this goal is well within reach! We’re asking the community to join us in the effort to raise the final dollars needed to complete the Heart of the Community Capital Campaign project.
