PHASE 2: effective June 15 - July 5

 

Unless explicitly stated or modified below, Phase 1 information is still in effect. Members and staff are expected to continue answering the health screening questions and suggested health practices. Click the links or see our Phase 1 blog post.

 

 

These additional areas and programs are available starting in Phase 2:

  • Aquatic Centers - hot tubs, lap pools and recreation/wading pools will reopen at both branches. Availability will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with enforced capacities. 
    • Hours Information:
      • Hours may differ from the facility hours. Refer to our Aquatics Center schedule on the mobile app or website.
      • Aquatic Centers will close from 12:30-1:00 pm (weekdays only) for cleaning and sanitizing. 
    • Capacities:
      • Hot tub - Northern Door (three people); Sturgeon Bay (four people).
      • Lap pools - two people per lane.
      • Wading Pool (Northern Door) - one family or individual
      • Recreation Pool (Sturgeon Bay) - any combination of six individuals or families)
  • Gymnasiums - one individual or family per basket. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. No pickup games are allowed.
  • Indoor pickleball resumes:
    • Only current Y members are allowed to play.
    • Three courts of indoor singles play only will be available at each branch during designated times.
    • Each player is limited to 30 minutes at a time. 
    • Only two individuals per court can be waiting in the gymnasium to play next.
    • No more than 12 individuals can be in the gym at any one time. All other players must wait in other areas or outside.
    • Members need to have paid for the 2020 pickleball session or sign up for the summer session.
  • Outdoor classes - online registration required for Northern Door Classes only (register here). Registration opens one week prior to class. Sturgeon Bay classes do not require registration. View schedules on the mobile app, or click below:
  • Outdoor pickleball (Northern Door) - individuals must provide their own equipment. Users will need to use their own discretion when using the courts. Social distancing protocols should be followed whether watching or playing. Y outdoor fitness classes have first priority for use of the courts.

 

These policy modifications are effective in Phase 2:

  • Age Policies:
    • Ages 10-15 are allowed in for a maximum of three hours per day.
    • Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+).
  • Nationwide Membership (NWM) - visiting members from NWM YMCAs will be welcomed back. 

 

Daily and weekly pass sales will tentatively resume in Phase 3 beginning July 6.

Saturday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Sunday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
